Saint Patrick's Day at an Australian Bakery in Marietta
Yesterday I went to an "Irish" pub for lunch and the only item remotely Irish on the lunch menu was potato soup. They did have some pretty bouncy pro-IRA tunes playing though. Today I was on the square in Marietta and had a pretty good steak and Guinness pie at an Australian bakery.
The lady at the cash register smiled but did not offer me a Vegemite sandwich. It's pretty obvious that I am from around here - not from a land down under.... that is.

Dam: Wide Open Beaver
This past weekend we got enough rain in the Chicopee woods to breach this beaver dam. So I took a picture... and a cheap shot with the title to this post.
Come to think of it, I may need to lay off of the suggestive titles. As I peeked into the sidebar I noted previous entries named "Kung Fu Fuck You", "No Pussy Blues" and "Jerky in the Bathroom " just in the past few weeks. I hope I don't get any disappointed visitors who were expecting a more exciting blog.

Nick Cave has been a busy man
If you dig deep enough you'll find Burt Reynold's mustache and wardrobe.

Kung Fu Fuck You
Those cats were fast as lightning ...but not fast enough to escape the thundering green herd of leprechauns though.
No Pussy Blues
So do Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds DBA Grinderman. This song and video is from last year's Grinderman album. It is the only original recording from 2007 currently in my CD collection (not including the excellent 30 year anniversary edition of 1977's Two Sevens Clash by reggae band Culture.) This is NSFW due to copious animal copulation and well.... NO PUSSY BLUES! Come on, of course it is NSFW!
The lyrics are hilarious and the theme timeless.
Bonus: Monkeys!
