This is the chocolate cake that my spouse baked for my birthday. The small child was given some marzipan and given free reign to decorate. The result: "Godzilla destroying Tokyo and fighting a giant snake". No paternity test needed for this first grader.

I had promised a couple of folks the link to the streaming IT Crowd site I found on Boing Boing some time back. This is that post.

The youtube link is part of the funniest episode of season two. The "Gays Always Welcome" sign I found in Ybor City. It was in a window of a shop that sold movie memorabilia. For the record, shops that sell movie memorabilia really don't need signs of this nature. I think it is kind of understood that when you slap a price tag on a pair of replica ruby slippers from The Wizard Of Oz out in plain view - you might attract homosexuals.

And yes - said slippers were also in the store.

This place has wonderful food. The deviled crab is served as an appetizer and is cheap, huge and hot. (I know, just like yours truly!) But the surprining thing is that the deviled crab looks just like the image on the sign!

You don't see signs like this much anymore. It is a shame that so much restaurant advertising involves glossy color food-porn photos and not more artisic endeavors. This sign really captures the food much more so than photography could.
