Dig through the ditches and burn through the witches....

Behold the spectacle that is DRAG-U-LA:

Image of George Barris' Drag-U-La
One of my favorite sites, boingboing recently had a couple of posts about this famous car and it's recent bastard child RAT-U-LA. DRAG-U-LA was a George Barris creation featured in the Munster Go Home movie. According to the Barris site, This automobile is now hanging from the ceiling
of the Planet Hollywood in Atlanta. I just have to figure out a way of seeing it without having to eat there.
Oh, and the Rob Zombie song about it kicks ass! ( even if the car in the video is actually Herman Munster's coach car from the TV show - there isn't a back seat or any other room for demons or witches in DRAG-U-LA due to the car being designed for drag racing and .......) Sorry, geeked out there for a second.

I've known the song, but never realized there was a vehicle behind it. Nice, but I'm guessing the mileage isn't exactly "economical" for my commute into work.
